We respect your privacy and handle data in line with Japan's APPI.
What we collect
(1) Email and display name when you create an account; (2) your cupboard (saved teas) and brew-timer settings, stored in your own browser and never sent to our servers; (3) analytics and ad-measurement signals as described below. There is no newsletter and we do not collect email addresses for one.
Cookies, consent & regions
Measurement follows regional rules: in regions with strict consent requirements (e.g. the EEA/UK), analytics runs in cookieless mode with ad storage denied; elsewhere, standard Google Analytics 4 cookies may be used. We do not sell personal data.
Purpose
To provide the service, improve quality, optimise content and ads, and respond to enquiries.
Third parties
We do not share personal data without consent except as required by law. Analytics uses Google Analytics 4. Outbound vendor links lead to third-party shops with their own privacy policies.
Retention & deletion
We delete data when no longer needed. Contact us to delete your account or data; your cupboard lives in your browser and can be cleared from your device at any time.
